Wow! Your little one is turning one and you have officially survived your first year! Where is your cake!?!? The first year is definitely something to celebrate, and whether you choose to do it with a cake or not, this is not a session you will ever forget. Your little one’s personality is really starting to bloom and why not document this moment! My cake smashes are some of my favorite sessions and I put a lot of time and creativity in each one. I create all of my setups, making each session special for my clients. Once the deposit has been paid, we will spend some time planning what theme, colors, props, you would like. Then I get to work. I make some props and shop for the rest. I do have outfits available for your baby to wear at no additional cost. They are not themed, but they are timeless and beautiful (yes, even the boys!). For allergy reasons, I do not provide the cake for these sessions, but I always recommend Publix for an affordable, simple cake. I recommend a 6 or 8 inch, 2 layer cake with buttercream or whipped icing. These photograph the best and make the best mess! SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION : “All sessions require a $100 non-refundable booking retainer to secure your session date and time. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to weather, so keep that in mind when selecting your date. Weekend sessions are an additional fee when booking.

PROOF GALERY : Within a week after your session, an online proofing gallery will be provided to you to view all the unedited images that came out from your session and you will have up to one week to select your final images for editing. At this time, you will also have the option to purchase additional images if you wish. Once you select your images, it will take 1 to two weeks for editing to be complete.

FINAL IMAGES : When I have finished editing your selected images, I will send you an email with an online gallery to view and download your images. Images are high resolution jpeg files and can be printed up to 20×30 in size. Your final gallery will include the option to purchase high quality professional prints at a discounted rate. You will also be able to download the images to your computer to save and order at any time. The final gallery will be open for two weeks, then will expire and I will store your edited images for 1 year in case you need to download them again. Unedited images are kept for 3 years and then purged.

CAKE IS NOT PROVIDED BY PHOTOGRAPHER – Due to allergies with babies, I am not able to provide cakes for my sessions. I can recommend some local bakers if you need recommendations, and I always love a simple cake smash cake from Publix. Cakes should be 2 to 3 layers, at least 6 or 8 inches round, and use buttercream or whipped icing to get a messier baby. Fondant icing is usually hard and does not make a mess.
