How long does a session last?
Session length depends on the type of session. Newborn sessions are baby-led and allow plenty of time for feeding and soothing, while milestone and cake smash sessions are shorter and designed to keep little ones happy and engaged.
Where do sessions take place?
Most newborn, milestone, and cake smash sessions take place in my cozy Lutz studio, which features multiple styled areas and props. Family and maternity sessions can be done in studio or outdoors at a beautiful local location during golden hour.
What’s included in a session with Precious Memories by Michelle?
Every session includes more than just time in front of the camera. You’ll receive session planning guidance, access to studio props and setups (depending on session type), gentle posing direction, and professional editing of your selected images.
How many images are included?
Each collection includes a set number of professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase additional favorites once you view your proof gallery.
Can I order prints with you?
Each final gallery will have the option to purchase prints through a professional lab that has been color matched to my edits for perfect professional prints.

Do you provide props and backdrops?
Absolutely! I carefully curate props, backdrops, and setups to match the style of your session. From soft newborn textures to fun cake smash themes, I design each setup with your baby and your vision in mind.
Can I bring in props?
Certainly! I always welcome clients to bring in props to be added to their newborn session, or in the cake smash setup, and even for milestone and birthday sessions!
Are siblings and parents included?
Yes! Family and sibling images can be included in most session types. I love capturing connection and those sweet in-between moments that tell your family’s story.
